Sending a Takedown Notice

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a notice of material being removed due to a copyright infringement claim, you can submit a counter notification to have the material restored. This notice must include:

Your physical or electronic signature.
A description of the material removed and its previous location.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe the material was mistakenly taken down or misidentified.
Your name, address, and telephone number, along with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district where the address is located (or any judicial district where the service provider may be found if outside the US), and acceptance of service of process from the original complainant.
